Being raised in an international Fortune 100 environment, Jennifer Gabriel was exposed to the global business world at an early age. The daughter of a Senior Chevron executive, she traveled extensively throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America and found home in some very intriguing locations including London, England and Jakarta, Indonesia. Jennifer’s experience in culturally diverse settings, as well as her understanding of world-class corporate arenas, is the foundation for her success as Director of Operations for Transcera.
Early in her career, Jennifer developed another essential area of expertise: relationship building. As an education professional, she quickly learned how to communicate effectively and build consensus across generations, cultural backgrounds, and skill levels. She launched new major educational programs still in place today.
Additionally, Jennifer planned and managed high level educational projects. Working with colleagues, however, was the highlight of this experience, allowing her to mentor them, identify strengths, and build lifetime career skills – a natural pathway to a future in developing opportunities as an Executive Recruiter in today’s challenging workforce needs.
Today, with an emphasis in retail merchandising, procurement, strategic sourcing, buying, and operations, Jennifer is eager to be giving back to the workforce community in a different way. “Companies and employees today need a strong advocate working on their behalf to cultivate their potential. Transcera is that voice, and I am very excited to be part of that influence and growth.”
Jennifer graduated summa cum laude with a degree in psychology from Immaculata University in Philadelphia. At Immaculata, she served as Vice President of the university’s honor society and Public Relations Officer of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. Additionally, she co-founded the undergraduate psychology club and founded and co-directed annual charity events.
